Fairfax Meaodw has been a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents National Safe Driving Awards scheme since 1999, as it believes that as a company we should actively promote safe driving practices within our driving team.

At the close of 2005, over 40 drivers had achieved the accident free driving and service term status required to achieve the NSDA award, with 9 drivers having five or more years of accident free service within the company.

With an annual fleet mileage in excess of four million miles per year, Fairfax Meadow has seen its accident rate reduce by over 60% since 2000, but still seeks ways to further reduce accident levels, viewing the RoSPA NSDA scheme as merely one tool in its training and development programme.
