Through 25 years of experience, Fairfax Meadow has a proven track record in the Food Service Industry, achieving a unique position in the market place through confident and consistent supply.

Annually serving the food industry with some 15,000 tonnes of chilled and frozen meats, including 34 million portion controlled products, Fairfax Meadow is without question the UK’s premier catering butcher.

With a flexible approach to it’s diverse and complex customer base Fairfax Meadow supplies over 5,000 customers per year taking 6,000 orders per week, all produced in line with agreed specifications.

In an industry steeped in tradition, Fairfax Meadow has evolved advanced manufacturing techniques and demanding levels of professionalism, quality and service to meet the needs of every customer.

Whether supplied from our automated central production plant in Derby, our specialist plant in London or one of our regional satellite sites, customers can be assured of a comprehensive range and consistent product quality and specification.

Fairfax Meadow also have dedicated poultry and gammon sites at Canterbury and Newcastle that offer added focus to these product areas.

Fairfax Meadow are investing in new operational systems with shrink wrapping and packaging concepts that support and enhance the product throughout the cold chain to ensure it arrives at our customer in optimum condition.

 

Chilled Distribution

With a fleet of more than 65 dual temperature vehicles, ranging from panel van to artic, operating from seven distribution sites across the UK, Fairfax Meadow ensure both prompt next day deliveries and timed delivery links into our customers nominated third party distributors throughout the year. 

Our vehicles are consistently replaced via an ongoing programme.  With the latest models of high efficiency vehicles, we ensure our exacting standards are maintained.  This includes mobile phone technology and the facility to offer temperature print outs as required.
