Great news! Fairfax Meadow is featured in the latest issue of The Caterer, in an article written by Anne Bruce, called “Big Barbecue Blowouts”.
The article focuses on the BBQ market and Zoe Davidson, commercial director at Fairfax Meadow, is quoted as saying, “This year we have certainly seen a surge in requests for barbeque products. Brilliant burgers and sizzling sausages have always been BBQ essentials, but over the past few years koftas, meatballs and value added meats have also increased in demand”.
Zoe then goes on to explain that new food trends are also coming through strongly in the category, with the recent launch of doner kebab style koftas with one of our customers.
The team at Fairfax Meadow continue to watch the food trends coming into the market, although the last year has obviously been led by the retailers. We’re looking forward to the hospitality sector reopening so that we can get out to visit and try the latest food trends from the up and coming operators.
