At Fairfax Meadow, due to our continued success, we are looking for an experience Warehouse Supervisor to work in our fast-paced Warehouse and use their leadership skills to support our Warehouse Manager at our head site in Derby. Our successful supervisor will be working 5 days out of 7, including weekends. ROLE
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be in charge of the effective development of the team structure to ensure skills and knowledge are up to expected standards whilst maintaining the smooth running of the production in our Warehouse.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining KPIs to expected standards and reporting these on weekly basis to the Warehouse Manager.
- Creating a monthly rota for staff members, including manning and staffing levels
- Chairing daily team meetings as required
- Creating a training matrix and SMART plan for staff members and monitoring all training progress
- Carrying out the day to day running of GMP/ health and safety/ risk assessments
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good attention to details.
- IT literate (AX, Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook)
- A flexible approach to both duties and hours of work.
- Can work well in a team as well as individually.
- Ability to motivate staff members and work under pressure.
